Membership and Fees

Here is a list of fees there are required in order to be a member of our dojo and the international organization. These fees should be received by set deadline in order to keep you the student in good standing with the dojo as well as the headquarters dojo.

Welcome to Aikido RVA

Thank you for visiting Aikido RVA. We know that the decision to take self defense classes can be daunting. So let's talk about self-defense. Self Defense is defined as the right to prevent the suffering of force or violence from others through the use of a sufficient level of counteracting force or violence. The scalability of Aikido makes it an effective form of self defense purposes you learn how to counter and what is a sufficient level of force or violence when defending oneself.

We are one of two dojos in the metro Richmond area sanctioned by Sensei Roy Y. Suenaka, to train in this style of Aikido. Also visit Brandermill Aikido Club, which is headed by Sensei Christine Golden.
